Actually, that's about the usual rate--remember, with Pixar and Disney being together, that means two animated movies a year if there is no increase in rate. 2011 is the only unusual year so far, with Pixar planning two movies.
Some of the films can't be judged yet, of course, but Wall-E is shaping up to be stunning, Up sounds very interesting, as does the revamped Toy Story 3 (If you don't know, a few years ago Disney was going to make it without Pixar, but when Pixar joined up, they trashed Disney's ideas and started over), and The Princess and the Frog and Rapunzel both appear to be un-ironic fairy tales that could be rather good.
If John Lasseter is excited about them, so am I.
